The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it can be alarmed with regard to the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The assistance position established for intervention experiences a large influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for that Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In sassa status check this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to help the servicing of all customers and raise entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
